This Privacy Policy describes how Factal collects, uses, and protects information when you install or use our Salesforce plugin (“the Service”).

Factal collects:

  • Salesforce Organization Information: Name and Salesforce Org ID (for licensing and support).

  • Metadata: Schema structure (object and field names) to enable natural language queries.

  • Optional Feedback Data: When users report incorrect answers, anonymized query details may be transmitted for debugging.

We do not collect, access, or store your actual Salesforce records or customer data.

 

When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. All Salesforce data stays within your Salesforce environment.
Factal only processes anonymized metadata when necessary for support.

We do not share your organization’s data with any third parties except as required by law or to maintain our infrastructure (e.g., secure cloud hosting providers).

We do not share data with any generative model providers or external analytics services.
 

6. Retention

Anonymized metadata and error reports are retained only as long as necessary to support or improve the Service, after which they are securely deleted.
 

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your organization’s metadata or anonymized reports at any time by contacting support@factal.io.
 

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted at factal.io/privacy-policy with a new effective date.
